Outline Plan The outline plan is my design proposal and this will normally be delivered to you within 3 weeks of undertaking the survey. The design will be based upon your requirements, as agreed upon in the brief. You will receive a scale drawing  showing the major areas and structures proposed and the relationship between areas of planting and hard landscaping. The design is subject to your approval and any minor amendments can be made at this stage.  Once you are completely satisfied with the design,  I will ink up and print off a detailed plan, which will be dispatched to you shortly afterwards. This will include basic construction information and  the materials to be used in building your garden. Detailed Construction Drawings It is sometimes necessary to produce detailed working drawings to augment the outline plan. These are to enable you or your landscaper to construct unusual or bespoke structures in line with my design and health & safety regulations. Please note that detailed construction drawings and schedules  are not included in my fee proposal. Planting plans Having constructed the garden, for many people the most exciting part is choosing and introducing the plants. If you are a keen gardener you may wish to do this yourself.  However, if you are at all unsure, I can assist you in producing detailed planting plans that will enhance my design for your garden and suit your local conditions. This service includes the production of a detailed planting plan and a plant schedule and,if you wish it, the sourcing and delivery of your plants from a reputable nursery at a highly competitive price. I will subsequently lay out the plants in their final positions, ready for planting by you or the landscaper, and provide you with written details of maintenance and aftercare, should you require this.
